Construction Management & Engineering Company Limited. (CMEC) is a locally owned engineering company. CMEC was established in October 1999 and is owned and operated by Mr. Antoney “Toney” Reid. Mr. Reid is a former engineer at the Water Authority with an extensive background in the field of civil, water and wastewater engineering. Mr. Reid has over twenty (20) year experience in the utility industry and a combined twenty-five (25) years in both public and private practice. He obtained his engineering degree from Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) in Civil Engineering and specializing in Water and Wastewater Engineering. Mr. Reid’s professional affiliations include: the Cayman Contractors Association (CCA), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Cayman Society of Architect Surveyors and Engineers (CASE).
CMEC was established to provide a complete service to both the public and the private sector in the installation of underground infrastructure. CMEC installs utility infrastructures such as water, sewer, electrical, telecommunications and civil works. We provide these services to new sub-divisions and multi-residential developments. Our services have been provided since the company’s inception to many private developers as well as to the utilities companies, i.e. Caribbean Utilities Company (CUC), Water Authority (WAC), Telecommunication Company (LIME), and the public sector “government” i.e. Cayman Island Airports Authority (CIAA), and Computer Services.
